Week 3

Week 3: UV-vis Week 2

There will be no lecture on Monday September 6 in observance of Labor Day.

We will continue working on the UV-vis lab this week. You will need to make standards that produce an $R^2$ value > 0.9990, measure your blanks, your QC, and your samples.

To Do:

  • Attend lab on Thursday. Please arrive on time wearing appropriate lab attire. And remember to bring your computer.
  • Watch the Lab 1 videos if you have not done so already.
  • Work on the Lab 1 Data Processing. There is a full data processing tutorial video in the lab manual.

Coming Up:

  • Your UV-vis notebook will be due in two weeks.
