Week 9

Week 9: Project Lab

You will continue with the project labs this week.

To Do:

1. Come to your designated lab section. You will work with your lab partner on the project lab. Plan to have at least two of the following completed by the end of the week:

   • Completed FT-IR data acquisition & Notebook
   • Completed standard preparation for FAAS or HPLC and run your samples
   • Completed GC-MS Data Acquisition

2. Watch the instrument tutorials. You should have all the tutorials and quizzes done by the end of the week.

3. Finish drafting the intro and methods sections for your technical report. A draft is due March 31.

4. Work on the lab notebooks for the projects labs you’ve completed. Do not put these off to the end of the semester!

Upcoming:

• A draft of your intro and methods is due no later than 2021-03-31 (turn in one per group)
• Remember there is no lab next week!
• College students should be eligible for the SARS-CoV-2 vaccine staring April 7! Check out vaccine.wcu.edu for more info.
